Vibe Coding Cookbook
Vibe coding is a term that is overused to describe any sort of AI-driven coding, but at its heart it involves AI taking the lead in writing code. But it cannot take the lead in everything related to software development projects, and if you do, that's trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with V and that stands for vibe.
This cookbook is a collection of notes I've taken and observations I've made, mostly when things have gone wrong, sometimes terribly wrong. I'm using Claude Code, at the moment, and some of these things may be particular to it, but in general it's applicable across the board. Because it's a collection of notes and observations, there's very little structure to this. You can read it straight through, or you can use it as a resource when something vexes you. Your choice.
To use it, you can either traverse the contents like a tree structure, or you can search for content you're interested in. If you want to know more about my thoughts behind it, feel free to read the Introduction. If you're about to launch a new project, see the discussion around Project Management before you start to save yourself from a lot of grief.
